Apples with peanut butter

Probably one of the easiest and most delicious snacks there are - Apples and peanut butter.
No matter if green, yellow or red, apples are refreshing, sweet and full of vitamins and nutrition. Peanut butter is rich in protein and fiber. Put the two together and you have a powerful snack between meals or right before soccer practice.

  • Prep: 10 mins


1Make sure your apples are washed and dried. On a cutting board slice them in the desired size. Serve the peanut butter in a small container.


1 or 2 apples of your choice (we use Granny Smith and Red Delicious)

about 2 tbs peanut butter (creamy or crunchy)


1 cutting board + small knife

1 small bowl


IMPORTANT: When buying peanut butter please take the time and do some research. Many brands can contain lots of additional sugar, corn syrup and hydrogenated oils. It is best to pick natural peanut butter, which contains just peanuts and some salt.

Instead of apples you can use other fruits, like fresh peaches or bananas. And if you are in the mood for vegetables, try sicks of celery or carrots.
