Dinner Recipes

Hello Kids

Wooaw, what a day!

I was such a busy bee! Sven and I and the little chefs were cooking all day…phoooo!
What did you do today? Did you go to kindergarten or school? And after that, did you do your homework and then you played with your friends or you even played sports? Well, I’m sure it was fun and very exhausting, right? But you made it through… and you made it to DINNER!

Dinner is the time when you wind down from a hectic day and you spend time with your family. Then you talk about all of the cool things you did today.

Dinner is also the time when you cook together. I hope you had a chance to go shopping with your mom and dad and you got a bunch of yummy things. Now get everyone into the kitchen and cook together. And if grandma is watching TV tell her to put down the remote control and to join in too, haha.

The more the merrier!

I have put together a bunch of yummy and healthy dinner ideas, that are easy to cook. These recipes might involve a few steps you shouldn’t do by yourself, but that’s why we all cook together to help each other out. Teamwork! That’s the fun part. But no food fights please… unless grandma tries to snack before dinner is ready, haha!

Please contact me on the CONTACT US page and let me know what you like to cook and eat for dinner. You can send pictures and videos as well.

Happy Cooking!

Roasted Sweet Potatoes

Sweet potatoes are full of flavor and nutrition and they are super easy to make. You can have them as a snack, a side dish for lunch or dinner or serve them with a few fun dips on your birthday party. Roasting them instead of frying make them a lot healthier and tastier than regular french fries 🙂

Brussel sprouts are a super food. They are low on calories and super high on vitamins, nutrition and antioxidants. In this recipe we bake them instead of boiling to keep the most flavor and crunch. So get your cape ready, because in less than 30 minutes you will have super hero power for dinner. 🙂

Try our baked honey-sriracha salmon. Sriracha is a mild hot sauce or chili sauce. Combined with the taste of honey it will give your salmon a yummy sweet & spicy kick. And by baking it we don't add any additional oil or calories.

Roasted Honey-Ginger Carrots

Carrots are high in vitamin A and many other nutrients. Snack them raw, have them in your salad, as carrot soup or even carrot juice. But beside all that carrots are the perfect lunch or dinner vegetables. In this recipe we roasted them to keep nutrients and crunch and we added some honey-ginger flavor for more fun. 🙂
