Frozen yogurt-berry-pops
March 22, 2018
These frozen yogurt-berry-pops are the perfect snack between meals. Berries have a ton of vitamins and antioxidants and yogurt has lots of protein. Put them together and you get super-hero power!
But make sure you make enough, because your friends will love them so much, there won't be any left for yourself 🙂
- Prep: 20 mins
- Cook: 2 hrs
- Yields: 12 yogurt pops
Directions
1Please have all of your ingredients ready before you start preparing the yogurt pops. Make sure your berries are washed and dried. (you can carefully dry them using a paper-towel).
2This recipe makes about 12 small yogurt-pops. Prepare a mini-cupcake pan with paper baking cups. Set aside.
3In a medium-sized bowl mix together the yogurt, honey and vanilla first...
4...then add the berries and carefully mix them together.
5With a teaspoon fill each paper cup about 3/4 with the yogurt-berry mix.
6Now press a pretzel into each cup about half way. Make sure the curved side faces up.
7When you are done place the tray inside the freezer for at least 2 hours.
Ingredients
different berries (about 1/2 cup each). We used strawberries, raspberries, blueberries, blackberries
TOOLS
1 large spoon or rubber spatula
12-15 mini cupcake baking cups
1 cupcake tray (12 mini cupcakes)
ADDITIONAL RECIPE NOTES
NOTE: If the frozen pops get stuck inside the tray, here is a great trick to get them out super easy: Take the tray out of the freezer and for a few seconds rub your hands underneath it. The warmer temperature will loosen up the pops and they will come right out 🙂
Use any berries that you like. Instead of berries you can use any of your favorite fruits. Mangos, pineapples or peaches work very well 🙂
You can make them ahead of time and store them in an airtight container or a zip-lock bag.
