Everybody loves fresh fruit. So why not make them into skewers and dunk them into a delicious low-fat yogurt dip for extra flavor and protein?
Our yummy fruit skewers are the perfect snack for your birthday party, a healthy dessert, a quick energy boost before sports practice, or just a sweet refreshment in the summer. Well...start dippin' 🙂

  • Prep: 25 mins
  • Yields: 2 fruit skewers

1As always have your ingredients ready before you start cooking. Make sure your fruits are fresh, washed, and then cut into pieces, big enough to fit nicely on a wooden skewer.

2Now you can assemble your skewers. Be creative. Put as many fruits as you can on the sticks in any way you like. Have fun with it 🙂

For the dip...

1Make sure your ingredients are prepped and ready to go before cooking. In this case, because we will mix everything together, you don't need to keep them in separate bowls. You can put the yogurt into a bowl and then add the other ingredients right on top once they are measured.

2Then mix everything together with a spoon or rubber spatula.

1 cup strawberries

1 cup grapes (green or red)

1 cup pineapple chunks

1 cup mango chunks

a handfull of blueberries

For the dip...

1 cup low-fat yogurt (plain)

1 tbsp honey

1/4 tsp vanilla

1/4 tsp cinnamon

a few 6-inch wooden skewers

1 cutting board + knife

measuring spoons

1 medium bowl + spoon (or rubber spatula)

The ingredients we used are just an example for you. You can choose any fruits you like. It is better to stay away from apples and bananas, because they will turn brown after a while.

Instead of making the fruits into skewers you can also serve them as a yummy fruit salad with the dipping sauce on the dide.
